There is a third aspect of sin, referred to in Galatians 3:22; “… the scripture hath concluded all under sin. …” The phrase “under sin” refers to the state in which man has been placed by an act of God. Man is not only guilty of personal sin, and not only harbors a sin-nature within his breast, but man has been placed by God in the state of sin. Again we find this same truth presented in Romans 3:9 where the Apostle says, “… we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin.”
